Workday Outfit: A Dressier Look For The Floral Pants

LOTS of photos today.  I reeeally liked this outfit. haha
These floral pants (worn more casually here) were getting very baggy on me so I did a little sewing alteration to slim them down a bit.  I dressed them up with a blazer and low wedge sandals and doubled up on the statement necklaces.  I'd seen other bloggers do this and liked the effect.

Hairdo:  The Ponytail Pouf
The bottom gold tiered necklace is fairly new and this it's my first time to wear it.  I may end up wearing it quite often as it will go with just about everything.

  7. This is a nice outfit on you. Great on doubling those necklaces. I like the look on you but those would drive me NUTZ! Necklaces have to be super light or I can't handle them for some dom reason.

    1. Really?! Well, now you're probably going to set that idea in my head and they're going to start bugging me. haha
My irritations (for myself) are tucked in shirts and belts. They drive me bonkers. lol I'm going to give the belt thing another try sometime though.

  8. Love the outfit! Isn't it great to wear something that makes you feel good? Found a jewellery shop in the City Market in downtown Indianapolis today that you would love. She buys from estate sales as well as new merchandise.

    1. Oooh, I never buy or look at jewelry like that, but it sounds fun! I've thought about hitting up estate sales before, but am not that ambitious. ha
Maybe you'll find some good pieces at that little shop for yourself. I know me and you like a lot of the same stuff. We'd probably be good shopping buddies! :)

    1. Thanks, Tracey.
Yes, attempting to alter anything is about a 70/30 gamble of it working...not in my favor. haha So I was happy these worked out okay.
