A Pretty Peach And Toasted Almond Scarf

When I first saw this scarf I thought it was sooo, sooo pretty.  I loved the colors and knew it would work well with pieces I already have in my wardrobe.  I see that the taupe (Toasted Almond) color of the scarf is one of the chosen Pantone colors for spring.  I suppose the peach color is a softer shade of the Tangerine they have listed also.

These earrings (I have had for ages) were the perfect colors to go with the scarf and olive cardigan.

Thrift or Theft?

Golly men have long shirt tails!   I wore this to work Wednesday and numerous times had to use the ladies room. That's a whole lotta shirt tucking let me tell you!  I did not enjoy it. ha  I do love the colors of the shirt though so sacrifices had to be made.

Wardrobe Newbies - Sunday's Shopping

Value Village had 50% off all clothing, shoes and bedding (Sunday) so I shopped again.  This is what I wore below, but didn't have my hair and make up done.  Basic everyday no frills outfit with those old cheap rubber flip flops.  Oldees, but goodies. 

 And here are some of the things I bought.

I'm loving this style of cardigan that I just bought in brown.  Thin, soft, and lightweight, but a good layering piece.  I have similar in navy, black, tan, and cream, plus 2 gray ones in sleeveless vest style.

The cute teal and tangerine flowered sandals were new with tags on, are from Kohl's, and were originally marked at $20 each.  I got them for $5 each.  I know I see a lot of bloggers getting really good deals at Kohl's with their discount coupons, etc. ...but I never shop at the actual store and don't know how they get the coupons.  I'm wondering if you have to sign up for a Kohl's credit card or something.  I do like some brands at that store and would consider shopping there if I could get things discounted at thrift store prices. :)

Big Daddy Came Home With Me

Big Daddy is the name of my favorite nail polish I got yesterday.  I purchased 7 on sale at $1.50 each.  Big Daddy is a bright tangerine orange that is going to look great with a lot of my outfits.  My two other favorites are Thimbleberry which is a coral and Gogo Girl which is a bright red.  The aforementioned colors did not photograph quite the true color.  Maybe they'll show up better on my nails.   I usually only wear a China Girl red color called Salsa on my toes, but I've gone plum polish crazy. ha   I've got a horrible urge to go back and buy more.  I really don't know if I'll end up wearing the ones in the top photo much, but I'll try them out.  They may end up getting passed on to my daughter.

Today I'm wearing Big Daddy on fingers and toes.

I'm not sure if I'm up for spending 1 1/2 to 2 hours every 5 days to keep up my fingernails.  (Removing old polish, painting base coat, polish, top coat, and then dry time.)  And I know I won't be doing my toes that often.  They'll just have to be a different color than nails because I only give myself a pedicure once a month with a couple of quick touch ups in between.

What are your thoughts on wearing or not wearing the same colors on both? 
I'm going to try to have fun with my nails at least for the summertime....or until I can't stand messing with it any more. ha 
Another dilemma is that now there is the added stress of coordinating my ouftits to my polish.  So I'm going to have to find ways to not be boring with the same color scheme for 5 days in a row.  How do people do this on a regular basis??  I don't know if I'm up for the challenge. haha
