Super Duper Skinny Jeans

 These are absolutely the skinniest of skinny jeans that I own.  They literally fit like a glove.  Maybe they're actually jeggings??  Is that was jeans that fit like leggings are called?
Anyway...I bought these in May of 2014!  I had dreams of fitting into them at that time, but was a far cry from doing so...until now.  They may feel a little inappropriate, but by golly I squeezed into them and was determined to wear them.  I tried to use good sense and wear a nice low pair of heels, a pretty scarf, and sensible cardigan to counteract the "hooker vibe" of the pants. haha

Thrifting Coordinating Pieces In One Shopping Trip

As it so often happens, I was browsing around Value Village, randomly adding things to my cart that I liked, and once I got home realized that many of the items I had purchased actually work really well together and provide pieces to create multiple outfits.  This top, scarf, and bracelet were all purchased in that shopping trip.

And....as I'm apt to do...(wisely, or not) I loaded on all the colorful pieces together.  I did ground them by wearing a dark navy trouser and shoe.

I bought the cutest pair of bright pink bottoms ($4.89 Caslon) that will go really well with this top also.  They are a bit snug and I'm not sure I'll be able to squeeze into them before summer is over, but I'm hoping to.  If not, I'll save them for next year.

Autumn Colors In Winter

The colors in my outfit are very fall-ish, but I had not yet worn this sweater and rarely carry this purse, so I wore them anyway.  Doesn't really matter, right?  At least I was dressed warmly for the cold.  That was my goal and so this outfit felt like a success to me.

 I've worn a few unique collared sweaters lately.  The winter white one with large fold over collar, and then the navy with zippered collar, and now this one that folds over and has buttons. 

 Just plain old comfy loafers.

Cozy Casual In Blue And Orange

This was the first time to wear both the scarf and purse.  I'm very happy I got them both.  I also love blue with orange.  The third thing I love in this outfit are the loafers.  They're so soft and comfy and I like the color.
This was the perfect cozy casual outfit for me.

Workday Outfit: Deep Emerald + A New Scarf

I'm wearing rich autumn colors of deep emerald, orange, and shades of caramel.  I was very happy with this look...and it all came together because of the pretty little scarf.  I will be wearing this scarf again for Thanksgiving with a plaid blazer in a similar green color and I might wear a darker brown pant.

I wore this skirt one last time and then we parted ways.  I just didn't wear or love it enough to keep it any more.  For a couple of years I wore mainly skirts....now hardly ever.  I think I go through phases.  I may get in a skirt mood again someday and buy some new ones though.
