More and more these days I'm finding myself just wanting to keep things simple. These Trader Joe products are quick, easy, delicious, and help me do just that. Hubby and I split the package of enchiladas and have 1 enchilda each for lunch about once a week. They are loaded with sauce and yummy filling. We top with a little bit of light sour cream. I'm hooked on the guacamole for sure! We have a little of it on something just about every day. Turkey meatballs are another of our favorites. We have these once or twice a week. One way is just as spaghetti and meatballs. A second way is cut the meatballs into tiny bits and place the pieces on a split apart toasted english muffin that has a little pizza sauce spread on top. Then top the meatballs with a little low fat mozzarella, garlic powder, and basil, then heat in microwave till cheese melts. Mmmmmmm..... Next is riced cauliflower. We probably only have this about once a month, but it's good as a rice substitute for a stir fry using lots of veggies and either a little bit of chicken or shrimp.
Simplicity is also finding it's way into my outfits. Slip on a pair of comfy leopard loafers with a pair of boyfriend jeans, tee, and cardigan... and I'm happy. :) thrifted: jeans $5.59 American Eagle gray tee $1.99 Prospirit cardigan $7 Chico's bangle set $1.50 loafer $5.99 Express

Well, don't answer that. I already know the answer, but I couldn't help myself. I rarely get to use these pieces and so I piled them all on and splurged on snakeskin print.
This was the last days wear on these flats though because they rubbed my foot a little. I covered one place up with a tiny band aid and so that was okay, but then they just rubbed another spot...and I thought well, this is just unacceptable. Out they go. I have plenty of other shoes so no need to be uncomfortable.
I would say I covered my two favorite Pantone fall colors in this outfit...warm taupe and sharkskin.

A favorite in my wardrobe these days are tees (long and short sleeved) in light gray, dark gray, black, white, and tan. Oh, and my striped sort of parisian style ones too. They seem to be putting me in my style happy place. :)

I wore this color combo recently here. This time I went for a more casual look. I'm wearing cuffed skinny jeans, a knit cardigan, loafers and I've added a scarf with the long necklace. The jewelry is in an antique gold color.
These are absolutely the skinniest of skinny jeans that I own. They literally fit like a glove. Maybe they're actually jeggings?? Is that was jeans that fit like leggings are called? Anyway...I bought these in May of 2014! I had dreams of fitting into them at that time, but was a far cry from doing so...until now. They may feel a little inappropriate, but by golly I squeezed into them and was determined to wear them. I tried to use good sense and wear a nice low pair of heels, a pretty scarf, and sensible cardigan to counteract the "hooker vibe" of the pants. haha

I love neutrals. I look back at some of my outfit choices and I resembled an easter egg. ha I may still backslide on occasion, but my heart really lies with neutrals these days. I find neutrals easier to mix and match and I feel a bit more put together when wearing them.
This sleeveless cardigan is one of my very favorite pieces. Because of it's neutral caramel color it goes with just about anything. And it cost me only $1.95.
I did add in a bit of blue, green, and red with the scarf, but it also had the golden yellow neutral to tie in with the other pieces.
