My Newest Fashion Muse...Consuelo Blocker

These are 2 of the new scarves I thrifted this Tuesday.  I just love the pretty shade of red with pink.  I decided to wear the 2 together because they matched and I liked the look.
I saw another blogger do this (who I discovered a few days ago) and she has become my newest fashion muse.
Her name is Consuelo Blocker.  She is Brazilian, but lives in Italy.  Her blog is fabulous!  I've been reading it and getting inspiration from it for days!  I love her easy chic style and it is one I can emulate comfortably in my real life.  Lots of flat loafers, sandals, scarves, ankle pants, etc... just as I like for myself.  She also shows more evening looks and also beautiful lingerie.  Seeing her elegance makes me realize I need to up my game in the sleepwear and loungewear department.  Generally I am so cold that I am bundled up like an old man. haha  I'm going to have to figure out how to lounge/sleep with more elegance, but maintain my heat comfort level.  That is a goal for 2015.    :)
(I'm thinking a lovely caftan, not mu mu...with simple matching turtleneck, leggings and nice ballet slippers.  Only the neck, lower arms, a bit of lower leg would show with the fitted under things, but they would help keep me warm.  I would remove the caftan before crawling into bed.)

Not only does Consuelo talk about fashion, but also her travels (lovely photos), and delicious foods/nutrition.  Her mother, Costanza Poscolato, is also an amazing and beautiful woman and involved in the world of fashion.  She is featured on the blog as well.
Consuelo has been blogging for a few years and I am going back through every single post and savoring it all.  Make sure you click to translate to your language so you may enjoy her writing along with the photos.

I do enjoy incorporating an inspired look into my thrifty world.  Today the look is achieved with pretty, but inexpensive scarves.

Butter Yellow Sweater $6.70 Chaus
Olive Green Knit Cardigan $1.29 Chico's
Tomato Red Pashmina Style Scarf $4.45
