I suppose that's just another name for blue jeans, but it sounds so much more intersting...conjuring up more images in my mind than just "jeans".
My shoes were not thrifted. I've had them for ages, but almost never wear them. And why wouldn't I wear one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I own?? Maybe because I feel they're a bit bulky and not as feminine as some of my other more dainty sandals. I have a wide foot anyway and the stretch fabric on these just seems to accentuate that width. So, since I'm just hanging around the house today and doing a bit of cleaning, I figured this would be a fine opportunity to be comfy and not worry about my feet appearing too wide. I have enough worries of that in the hip department. haha I purchased these dark wash jeans last year even though I've never been a fan of darker jeans on me. Why I thought things would be different now I have no idea. Still not a fan. So I'm all poo poo on my outfit today, but that's what I wore, so here it is. I think tomorrow will be a better day. I'll be working and dressing up a bit more.
Thrifted Items: Jeans $3 Caslon, black tank top, red cardigan, scarf $1.
I have days like that too. I do think this is cute though! I like your jeans rolled up like that! And comfy shoes are a MUST when cleaning!
ReplyDeleteI used to wear no shoes at all most of the time, but I'm trying to take better care of my feet these days.
DeleteFrankly I don't think you look wide anywhere. Cute classic outfit. Would you like some of our 90 degree days?
ReplyDeletehaha I'd love borrow a few degrees, but not the whole 90. We have no A/C. :)
DeleteEven when you're dressed down, you're dressed up. I agree that dungarees is a more evocative word than jeans. And I like shoes likes this!
