Mustard Striped Tee With Teal and Beige

This goes into my "outfit favorites" category.  The jeans are fairly new and I like their fit.  I have at least a couple of pairs of this brand of pants/jeans and they seem to work well with my curvy figure.  They hug in the right places and are not too baggy in the legs.  The long sleeved tee is really soft and a thinner fabric.  I also like this combination of colors that came together with the scarf.  I generally don't like this minty teal color for my nails, but I decided to go with it to match the outfit.

I was so happy with how my hair turned out and was thinking I was having a good hair day...but I guess no one else thought so. haha  When I asked...hubby says he prefers it "other ways" and no one at the office made any comment about it.  What do you think?  Do you like it straightened better?
I will probably wear it both ways, but I do still like it this way...even if I'm the only one. :P

Blue Stripe, Gray Stripe

This is one of my favorite "go to" super casual tops.  I guess the main reasons for that are that it's comfortable and I  I like the colors...and I like stripes. :)
I didn't even wear any jewelry except my watch.  This is minimal and simple all the way.  This was an outfit I wore for a thrift shopping excursion.  It met the requirements:  easy to get on and off and able to try on cardigans and most tops right over this one (since it's thin) without struggling in a dressing room.
Do you have any wardrobe items you reach for more than others?  Do they meet the needs of comfort, style, or both?
I have 2 pair of yellow jeans and both are by Gloria Vanderbilt.  This is the older pair with a more relaxed fit, but I thrifted a newer pair the day I went shopping.  The newer pair fit much better and are not so loose.  I was wondering why that is because they are both the same brand and a size 8 short.  I just looked at them trying to figure it out and realized the newer pair is an "Amanda" style.  I also now notice that the previous owner had sewn up the waist and hemmed them.  They may also have sewn up the sides of the legs, but I can't tell.  They must be an expert seamstress.  They altered them to fit me perfectly!  Thank you fellow donater! :)

New Waterfall Cardigan $1.29

Well, the cardigan was actually purchased nearly 3 months ago, but it's the first time I've worn it so I count it as new.  And only $1.29!!  What a deal!
I've said it before, but I love this style and lightweight fabric.
This cardigan has a color combination of peachy pink, lilac (or lavendar), and a really dark navy blue that nearly looks black.
I did a bit of pattern mixing by adding the striped melon colored tee.
