New Shoes and Cardigan
This is the first time wearing the cardigan even though I thrifted it nearly 4 months ago. Crazy about the pastel colors in it. The shoes were purchased last week and I absolutely love them. They're a dark chocolate brown color and are one of the most comfortable pair I own.

Wardrobe Newbies: Tribal Print Cardigan + Gray Ankle Pants
I really loved this cardigan and the whole outfit really. I like the print, colors, drape and weight of the cardigan, plus the pants were very comfortable and I didn't have any slacks in this shade of gray.
I started out thinking I'd wear the gray flats, but switched to the studded, suede, black ones below.
The necklace and earrings are tribal inspired in keeping with the cardigan style.

Weekend Outfit: An Asymmetrically Draped Scarf In Mustard And Mint + Contest Necklace Giveaway Link
* First off, I'd like to share some info on how to win an absolutely amazing necklace in a giveaway. Pam at Over 50 Feeling 40 is sponsoring this fabulous contest. One lucky winner will get a stunning necklace from ALLIE-COOSH.
Head over to Pam's and see how you can win.
The drape and partial tuck of the scarf into the belt was accidental, but I ended up quite pleased with how it turned out. Since it has been recommended by some other bloggers that I tuck in my shirts (or maybe belt them)...or I guess just not leave them hanging out loose, haha...I was playing around with adding a belt. I really thought it accentuated the width of my hips too much, but then was also working with how to wear the scarf and ended up with this look. I liked it. I felt much more comfortable in wearing the belt by adding a bit of length in the front and partial covering with the scarf. I could have tucked it all the way into the belt, but I liked this look best for today.
I'm linking up with Patti at Not Dead Yet Style for Visible Monday. Come and join us. It's a great link up with some fabulous ladies.
I needed a jacket for the grocery shopping so I took along this one.

I love how the colors in the scarf tie in with the rest of pieces in this outfit and the accessories. This was another of my "feel good" looks for myself. I'm happy with the length of the pants (another pair that I've slimmed down to fit after some weight loss) and my new sandals are super comfy. I thrifted these a couple of days ago along with 2 other pair that are identical. These are what I call a butterscotch color. I also got a pair in white and one in a nude tone. They were each $5.99 and looked like new so I couldn't pass them up. I knew these would be a good go to shoe for work, or any occasion, and that I could walk in them comfortably all day. I really wish I would have been lucky enough to find them in black as well. The drape and partial tuck of the scarf into the belt was accidental, but I ended up quite pleased with how it turned out. Workday Outfit: Minty Stripes and Baubles
I ended up untucking this top before I left for work on Monday. I tried...but I just have an aversion to tucking in my shirts and don't think it looks good on me.
I do like the navy/mint/white striped t-shirt though. Once I untucked it I was totally fine with the look.
