Is It A Sweatshirt Or A Tee?

This top has the look of a sweatshirt... however, it is much thinner than your typical sweatshirt and it's very soft...so it could be a tee...designed to look like a sweatshirt. ??
I have been so drawn to neutrals this year that I have gone a bit overboard in my purchases of gray and black tees and sweaters.  
Over thrifting is my one weakness. ;) 
Has anyone watched the series I'm referencing in my statement above?  I just finished the 4th and last season of it (on dvd) last night and was sooooooo sad for it to end.

Christmas Eve Seaside Brunch

We enjoyed a HUGE brunch as a treat from my daughter and son-in-law.  We had a beautiful view of the water and city from our table and great company.

Over the last few days I have dressed in a very similar style, but have changed elements such as shoes, jewelry, sweater, or topper to give a slightly different look.
All my outfits over the holiday have given me one important detail....comfort.  The stretch waist of these new black pants was a big help in that department.  :)  In fact, I am loving these pants so much I may look for this style even after I've lost my extra gained pounds.  They feel like dressy yoga pants or something.  (Not that I've ever worn yoga pants. ha)

New Scarf - An Inexpensive Accessory

Olive is not a color I ever remember wearing much of before.  For some reason, over the last few months, I have taken notice of it and randomly purchased several pieces in this color.  I've acquired a couple of cardigans, a v-neck tee, a pair of loafers, and 3 or 4 scarves that have a predominant color of olive. 

The scarf I'm wearing here is my newest acquisition.  I like that it has colors of mainly olive and tan with a bit of black and off white as well.
My basic black column seems to be a frequent go to these days and is easy to add a completer piece (cardigan) to and accessorize with necklaces or scarves to vary the look.  I wore simple gold earrings, my super comfy black ballerina flats and carried my olive handbag.

2 Leopards - 1 Leopard = 1 Leopard + Ballet Flats

After seeing these photos I decided on my black ballet flats instead and changed before leaving the house.  I was not happy with these two leopard prints together and the simple black worked much better.

There was just no last minute quick fix for me from the neck up though.  In that case, I give crop tool the command "Off with her head!".  haha
