Adding Spring Colors To My Life

It's exciting to be wearing brighter spring colors.  I've added several pieces to my wardrobe in shades of peachy melon, mint, and aquamarine.  I've also purchased a new pair of backless wedged sandals with thin stripes of red, yellow, orange, lime and blue.  It's time for a fresh spring pedicure! :)

Strawberry Ice and Glacier Gray - Pantone Spring 2015 Colors

I'm loving the Pantone Spring 2015 color choices.  In this post I wore a softer shade of the tangerine and also toasted almond.
Here, I'm wearing my new scarf which is similar to the Strawberry Ice Pantone color.  It was a great match to an older sweater I had in the same color. The cardigan is Glacier Gray.  I was very happy with this combination.  Thank you, Pantone, for the inspiration! :)

OOTD: Gray, Silver, Tan, Melon

This is just one of those outfits that makes me feel good even though it may not look like anything particularly special.  I adore this necklace, like the color combination in the outfit, and the whole thing was very comfortable.  I did end up changing shoes before I left because I could tell these would not get me through a day of work.  Instead I opted for a soft leather nude loafer.  Ahhhh, much better (but I didn't get a  photograph).  This is an outfit favorite.
Someday......  I hope to have my closet paired down to only my very, very favorites...what I feel happiest in and most comfortable wearing.

I wore earrings (but you can't see them here) in little dangly heart shapes that had the same colors as these two bracelets...melon and seafoam.

A Waterfall Cardigan In Lilac, Dark Navy, and Melon

A favorite style cardigan of mine worn with another new pair of pants.  I love the cardigan as a third completer piece to cover up some of the bits you don't want to bring attention to.

A New Blazer $2.28

A first time wear for this new blazer.  I was very happy to run across this blazer at this low price.  I love the fabric, fit, and color.  It is a staple piece for my wardrobe and will go with just about anything.  I have another item that's similar and same color, but it's more of a "jacket" (last worn here) to be worn as part of the outfit (if desired) rather than a "blazer".   I like them both.  The other day I actually purchased a 2nd blazer in this color with a slightly different material because it was only $1.29, but I'm not quite sure if the fit is right for me.  It's a size larger than I would like.  I may wear it once so I can see it in photographs and if it's not to my liking I'll re-donate it. 

 I'm pretty much living in these beige jeans. haha

Well, the cardigan was actually purchased nearly 3 months ago, but it's the first time I've worn it so I count it as new.  And only $1.29!!  What a deal!
I've said it before, but I love this style and lightweight fabric.
This cardigan has a color combination of peachy pink, lilac (or lavendar), and a really dark navy blue that nearly looks black.
I did a bit of pattern mixing by adding the striped melon colored tee.

I wore above outfit on Monday and then went thrifting Tuesday.  I found some great things in wonderful fall colors.  Prices were slightly discounted from what was tagged.  I'll post cost and details when I wear them.  I absolutely love the two purses and that last floral top.  Didn't realize till I got it home that it has Toucan birds on it eating berries!  Now I love it even more.  :)
