Casually polished is how I would describe this look. It's easy going with black cuffed jeans and wedged sandals. The nicer style of jeans (not old and ill fitting) and pretty floral top dress things up a bit. I added in golden jewelry and an updo to further heighten the polished aspect.

The colors work so well together that this is definitely, as you say, "polished." I wish I could create that impression.
