OOTD For The Office: A Dressy Jacket With Casual Stripes

In today's black and white outfit, which I wore to work, I've dressed up a pair of casual jeans and striped tee with a pretty kimono style jacket.
I am a big fan of wearing a longer layer over a top (or just a longer top) to camouflage the hips a bit.
Love these suede-like pointy toed flats with studs and buckles.
jeans $8.50 Gloria Vanderbilt

pewter/black link necklace $2.62

  1. Beautiful. You put outfits together so nicely.

I don't know if I've ever said this to you before, but -- from my perspective -- you look really young and healthy. Not "20-years old" young but "in the prime of your life" young. I *wish* I looked as good as you, but too many decades have passed me by. Enjoy it!

    1. Oh, Ally, thank you. I think I understand what you mean. This is the happiest time of my life and so maybe how I "feel" shows.
And don't think for a moment that too much time has passed you by. You appear very youthful to me...ready and open to new discoveries and life's pleasures.

  3. I too am a big fan of hiding my hips (and my tummy) with a longer layer. Menopause has not been kind to my metabolism. ;) YOu do look amazing!

    1. Thank you, Debbie.
Well, I've always had me some hips, haha. And, oh great....I guess I can expect more expansion in the coming years. :)
