Just as I was talking (here) about remixing and the potential to raise your outfit quotient with just a single scarf...the same thing can be said about a cardigan.
I can't seem to get enough of this one. It seems to go with so many things in my wardrobe. I like wearing it in a more casual way with one of my favorite pairs of jeans and wedged ankle boots (as in this post), but I also liked it here dressing it up a bit more.
The light caramel hue goes well with things of color, but works equally well with neutrals such as black, browns, and grays.
This cardigan was a total steal at only $1.95! I definitely hit the jackpot with this one. It fits perfectly into my style vision and I've created numerous outfits by incorporating it....with more to come. :)
Beige Jeans $3.99 Style & Co.
Blue Turtleneck $4.78 Bobbi Brooks
Striped Sweater $4.78 Southern Lady
Sleeveless Cardigan $1.95 J.J. Basics
Necklace
Purse $5.99 Liz Claiborne
Wedged Ankle Boots $19.99 Liz & Co.

It really is a great addition to your wardrobe and I am loving the wedge boots...
ReplyDeleteThis is the kind of sophisticated preppy look I wish I cold pull off, but is just a hot mess on me. You look superb in this outfit, it looks expensive!
ReplyDeleteRemember "Project Runway"? Tim Gunn was always pushing the contestants to make their garments look expensive-- and it was his highest form of praise when he said that that did.
Thank you for the nice compliment, lawyerdoll. :)
