Burgundy + Blue and Whole 30 Prep

Our temps have dropped lower than usual here so I made sure to wear a scarf and socks this day.
I have been preoccupied lately with preparations for an upcoming Whole 30.  My daughter asked if I would do it with her.  I researched it and let her know I'm in.  John (hubby) actually is going to do it with me too!  I'm so excited about that.  It will be nice to have an in home partner and support for this.  I am already learning a lot and am sure this will be really good for me.  It does take some planning though, so I'm getting together compliant recipes, food items for shopping list, and meal plans.  Our start date will be Feb. 18.  Once we get started I'll be posting a bit about how it's going.
You can check out the Whole 30 plan here
I've found a lot of websites for great recipes and posts from people who have tried it.  I think it will be challenging, but I'm excited to do it and learn/reinforce some better and healthier habits and ways of eating.
If you've done the Whole 30...what were your impressions?  Did you find it helpful?  Did you blog about your experience?  If so, please leave me a comment and the blog post url.  I'd love to take a look! :)
