I wore my new necklace to work this week both on Wednesday and Friday.
This is a first time wear for these bronze heeled sandals. They pick up the bronzy color in the skirt.

I love this skirt and the necklace! I don't have anything in my closet from 15 years ago....I wrote a post about my love for an embroidered tunic for Tuesday and may someday say I've had it for that long....
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm glad you like the skirt, Tracey! I wasn't so sure if it looked okay. So two for the "yes, keep it column" so far make me feel better about it. Thank you. I'll look forward to seeing your tunic this week. :)
DeleteYour outfit is fabulous. I knew you had lost a bunch of weight and I'm happy for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Judy. 22 lbs since the first of the year. Just by sticking with watching what I'm eating, but not being too strict with myself. I seem to be at a standstill now though. Will keep trying.
DeleteGlad you like the outfit. :)
The skirt is a lovely classic print, Lisa, and you look terrific. Congrats on all the hard work and weight lost. And thanks for sharing your look with Vis Monday !
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patti. I'm glad the skirt wasn't a fail. :)
DeleteSuch a pretty skirt.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Marla.
DeleteCongrats on fitting in the skirt again...I need to get back in so much currently hanging in my closet. You have just inspired me with you beautiful blue outfit!
ReplyDeleteI had a few other "favorite" pieces that I'd hung on to for a looooong time in hopes that I could wear them again someday. Sadly, they were in a box in our basement at the last house we lived in and it got flooded. I tried to wash them, but they were not salvageable. This one was the only one that survived.
DeleteBut I'm ditching clothes that are now too big, even though a part of me says, "but what if I need those someday".... NO! I am NOT going to need them someday. haha Thinking positively! :)
Congrats, indeed, on fitting into the skirt. That's lots of will power. Your outfit follows the column dressing in that the top and the background of the skirt are the same tone. Love the blue jacket...good color on you.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love Susan's style?! I love her clothes. So classy and put together for all occasions. She's a good teacher.
DeleteIt's a really pretty print. I like this look too and look forward to the other ones as well. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks, Paula. :)
DeleteDefinitely a keeper with those shoes! And congrats on fitting into it.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Fonda.
DeleteBlue and bronze are a great combination. The shoes are very nice.
ReplyDeleteI ended up liking the shoes even more than I thought I would...because they were very comfortable to walk in all day. Yay!
DeleteI'm glad you dug out that skirt and are able to wear it again. It's gorgeous on you, and those sandals are perfect with it - the bronzes really work.
ReplyDeleteGreat thrifting, as usual! I think I detect a little boho action coming through with that cute skirt!
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is gorgeous Lisa, good that you keep it! It is of a wonderful pattern and very versatile. I could imagine lots of looks to be created with it. And the best you look fabulous in it!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty skirt!
ReplyDeleteI love this kind of blue and the classy we you've combined it.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time.
Sunny
Yes! Keep the skirt! So of the moment, and we all want to see the other options. Very you, this baroque print. I'm envy-green at the deal on your sandals. They look brand new, this season ... lucky you and you deserve the luck!
ReplyDeleteNice in your maxi skirt! I definitely say to keep it. And a more reason is that it is perfect with your bronze sandals!
ReplyDeleteVery cool skirt! I agree that it's a keeper.
