Outfit, Dinner, and Snack

This is what I wore on a trip with my daughter to Ikea and Home Depot.  She and her husband have bought their first place...a 2 bedroom condo which they get the keys for later this month... and so she's getting decorating ideas.  It's a fun and exciting time for her.

Thrifted Items:
Jeans $3 Gloria Vanderbilt (Goodwill)
Cardigan
Lavendar Snakeskin Print Bracelet $2.10 (Value Village)
Sandals $4.90 Nine West (Value Village)
Last night's dinner:  Chicken Peanut Ramen w/ Veggies
I ate a little over half and saved the rest for my lunch at work today.

Ingredients: leftover rotisserie chicken, coleslaw, broccoli, carrots, onion, mushrooms, ramen noodles w/ season pkt, cashews, soy sauce, peanut butter, rice vinegar, chicken broth, ginger, garlic salt, red pepper flakes.

And I'm hooked on these and eat one nearly every night.

  2. your post have made me think when I was just married and my mother bought us some furniture for our flat. It was a lot of years ago, but I remember how sweet it has been to spend a little time together...perhaps your daughter will remember that day in the future in a similar way...

  3. An exciting time for your daughter and how fun that you get to share in it. Those WW ice cream bars are incredible... My favorite is the dark chocolate and raspberry.

  4. This is the perfect shopping outfit, put together and also able to brave the crowds and dust of Ikea and Home Depot. How exciting it must be for you to see your daughter and husband settle into their first home.
