It's In My Closet: Imitating the Look

I stole this look right off the runway.  Why?  Just because I could.  I had all the pieces and felt like going for it.
This is a somewhat out of my comfort zone, but I felt like being a bit wacky today, so I tried some new poses also.
The top half of this outfit is just fine.  It's the bottom half that feels odd and out of place on me.
(Note: I did not wear this out of the house.)

I honestly wasn't even going to get dressed today.  I was just going to lounge around and get a shower and wash my hair after while.  See what blogging does to you?  You end up wearing high water pants with no socks and stand in awkward positions while looking comical. haha

Thrifted Items:  Gray t-shirt, rust cardigan $2.80 Cranbrook, scarf, orange purse $8 Nine West, booties $6.99 Franco Sarto.

  1. You did a great job with re-creating this look! It makes me want more scarves in my closet!

  2. I have to agree, I don't care for the pants too much...but then I am little traditional. You did a great job with the look tho!!!

  3. Lisa, this is SO cute! I love how you were inspired by this fall look, which I also love.
How was your lunch in West Seattle?

  4. Yay!! I applaud your new ideas! The poses are cute and the outfit is fun. It's wonderful when blogging coaxes us into experimenting. That always ends up improving our overall style.

  5. wow lisa! you get the look perfectly! if i were you i would were the outfit out of the house surely. you look gorgeous!

  6. So cute! Really! The outfit and the poses! All you need is a shirt tail showing under the bottom of your sweater - and Viola! Get out there and flaunt that look! Don't hide it!

  7. Nice choice of colors...best regards...

  8. Lisa, what a great recreation. Your poses look great. Mine always look goofy, so I just try to stand there and look relaxed! Your thrifty abilities are beyond compare.

  9. Lisa, you DID have all the pieces! I LOVE it!
I think your photos are great, too!

  10. Lisa I recently started doing this too. I see an inspirational pic and bam, I run to my closet and throw it together on my bed and snap a photo. Love this feature. You should totally wear it. dawn suitcase vignettes
