I Call It Burgundy

I am pairing my black jeans with a gray striped soft t-shirt, burgundy cardigan, and gray scarf. (The cardigan, scarf, and flats are recent purchases and a first time wear today.)  I also have a cardigan in what I call "red plum" which is slightly different in color from this burgundy one, but I have not worn it yet.
My natural inclination would be to wear black shoes and a black purse, but I really like the look of adding brown with black so I'm wearing my new carmel colored soft leather flats and my carmel purse (probably my favorite purse I own) and feeling rather proud of myself for being so "on trend". haha
I purchased these flats the same day as the Eddie Bauer ones I wore this week.  I also got a pair of brown flats and low heeled red mules.  They were such amazing prices I couldn't pass them up.  Plus they are styles I'm trying to gear my wardrobe and look toward.

Today is my first day of having to work Mondays and it's an adjustment from having a 4 day weekend these past 4 1/2 years with this job.  I was only working on Wednesdays and Fridays.  I'm glad for the extra hours though.
Hope you all have a great week.  I'll be linking up with Patti at Not Dead Yet Style for Visible Monday.

  6. That looks just like my daughter's favorite purse. She loves that golden leather color and it really suits you and her. She recently found a wallet with the same color but she pays way too much for her stuff. Does your daughter second hand shop like you do?

Love your cardigan and scarf colors today!
