Taking Advantage

Yes, I'm taking advantage of our nice weather and continuing on with the summer colors when the opportunity avails itself.  We didn't really get a proper summer started here until July so I think it's only fair.  I'll be permanently transitioning into fall soon enough.

Thrifted Items:  White jeans $4.50 Amanda by Gloria Vanderbilt, green tank top, green blouse $4.50 National, green bracelet, scarf, purse $7.79 Liz Claiborne, wedge sandals $5.60 Ilani Italia.

  1. We had a slow start to summer here too so it's only fair to ride out the warm weather for as long as possible! Beautiful delicate scarf.

    1. Thank you, Sabine. I keep thinking the warmer temps for our area are over when it dips into the 60's and then it shoots back up to 80. So I'm pleased to squeeze out a few more summer outfits.

  5. Gorgeous colors. So ethereal. Looking at your lightly-colored outfits always puts me in a happy mood.

I, too, am clinging to Summer. I don't care what the calendar says!

    1. If Stevie can wear boots all summer long, then I can wear white all winter long. Makes no difference to me. :)

  6. Love the citrus green top! Is that chiffon?
As long as the thermometer reads 80+, I am wearing the comfy summer-y clothes! :)

    1. Hi, Betty. It's just cotton, but it's actually a soft, lightweight, slightly crinkly fabric.
