Goodbye Red Wedges

I really like these shoes, but never wear them.  I put them on today to wear to the grocery store and realized they just pinch my feet too much for even that short trip.  I'm taking steps (hehe) to get more strict with myself regarding eliminating shoes that are really not wearable.  I'm patting myself on the back for putting these in my donate pile today.  "Good job, Lisa!  That's a wise decision.  See how easy that was?" :)
I'm linking up with Visible Monday at Not Dead Yet Style.

  2. I know what you mean about the shoes, Lisa - I have said goodbye to some really cute pairs as well, but you were brave! : > Love your neat, classic look and thanks for sharing it with Visible Monday.

  5. Oh, I know how sad it is to let them go! But you are very wise. Hold out for cute shoes that are walkable, as well. Now that the uncomfortable ones are gone, there is room for the fabulous new ones.

  6. There's nothing worse than shoes that hurt -- but I understand your reluctance to toss 'em. I've hung on to shoes that caused me pain for too long. Just have confidence that there are other, equally pretty shoes out there which feel better to wear.

Have you ever tried shoe stretchers? I have them, and it works great!
    You look gorgeous, btw!

  9. What a wonderful jacket. It looks to fit perfectly. Too bad about the shoes, but Ally is right, there are a lot more out there and surely one will be perfect.

Tell your husband he is in my thoughts. I know he misses Emma. That was a long time to have her around.

  10. I know how you feel about the shoes. They are nice, but just imagine, they'll make someone else very happy and now you have room for another pair! You look really, really pretty in red, BTW.

  11. Darn! Those are really cute shoes Lisa. Too bad they hurt your feet. Oh well, I guess that just means you're going to have to get rid of them at my upcoming swap party!
The red is a good color for you.

  16. Even though the shoes are as cute as they can be say good by with a smile. I just had to donate a pair of leopard flats that required 4 band aids to wear............go away bad shoes and say yes to comfort!
Thanks for stopping by. Hope to hear from you soon.
