I feel a bit like one of the ladies in that movie today because of my big hair. I'll imagine that I've just left Truvy's Beauty Parlor and am on my way to meet up with my best friend M'Lynne for lunch.
Thrifted Items: Black pants, t-shirt, cardigan, scarf, bracelets, earrings, wedge sandals.
Love the Big Haar! That's not a typo, that's the way it's pronounced in some corners of the country. HeeHee... The scarf is fab...like the pretzel tie...
ReplyDeleteCute, cute analogy--this post with Steel Magnolias. One of my all time favorite chick flicks.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that movie in soooo long. You even remembered the names!
ReplyDeleteYou must have used some hot rollers on your hair? It looks lovely too. Are you growing in out??
The big hair is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the description you've written. Also, I've just nominated you for a Liebster Award.
ReplyDeletenever have seen the film but your hair is splendid! i love those big blonde curls, you look amazing.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. The scarf is lovely. And your hair! I've spent a half-century wishing I could have hair so pretty. Enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI love your hair like this. It does look very southern. I spent from age 7 to age 18 in the south and I think that is where my love of big hair originated. Do you have any "how to" hints on how we might do this ourselves?
ReplyDeleteLove your outfit too, especially the scarf.
