Flip flops are my favorite shoes ever. Not necessarily this particular pair, but just in general. I'm getting ready to run an errand and thinking about going for a walk with hubby around our neighborhood. We don't have ocean views from our house, but just a couple of blocks over we can see beautiful views of the sound in West Seattle. We don't take advantage of that often enough. The temperature is supposed to climb into the low 70's, but I bet you anything I'm going to have to wear a sweater. I'm so cold natured most of the time.
I'm linking up with Visible Monday and can't wait to see what all the other lovely ladies are wearing today.
Thrifted Items: Tan capri pants $3.59 Crossroads, melon striped top w/ hood 99 cents Old Navy, cream tank top, necklace.
I love this shirt! Orange hues and stripes? I'd be all over that in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeletehaha I had to say to hubby "Look, honey...the color!, the stripes!, the hood! and only 99 cents!" lol
DeleteThat's a really cute top! We live right here in West Seattle and do you think we walk the Alki boardwalk? Next to never! I think I did it more often when I lived the furthest away. I can walk from my house even but once I get down there on a nice day it's so darn crowded!
ReplyDeleteWe tend to go for "drives" more than "walks". And walks are what we "need". Alki is nice, but sometimes is crowded. One of my employers lives right there and is going to take a roller blading class so she can roller blade down there. I love driving down that way and also roaming the neighborhoods to look at houses. I'm wanting to start meeting up with my daughter to walk more (maybe some at Alki, but that's going to have to involve eating lunch also and then that defeats the purpose), but she lives downtown and would have to bus over.... Life is so complicated. hahaha
DeleteReally pretty sweater and great jewelry too, Lisa. We live about 4 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, and while my husband rides his bike there frequently, I only go about once a month! What's up with us? : >
ReplyDeleteOhhh! You have a nice proximaty to water too! We don't have any beach access in our neighborhood, unfortunately. We can just get a beautiful view on our walk. It's residential beach access only. We have to drive a couple of miles to get to a park, beach access and walking trails. TWO whole miles! haha We are definitely homebodies and in a rut. lol
DeleteThere you go with the hair again. Love it! And I love how your pendant ties everything together. Beautiful. I also get bone-cold easily.
ReplyDeleteI did wear a jacket on our walk and I was glad I did. But bundled up in June is something I am not used to...coming from the midwest summertime heat and humidity.
DeleteI love flip-flops too, but most of mine are the cheap rubber type and nothing I could wear with a real outfit. But they are so comfy in the summer.
ReplyDeleteYup, flip flops rule. At least when it's warm. Otherwise it's boots. That pretty much sums it up!! Wish it were cool enough here to wear a sweater!! Enjoy it for me.
ReplyDeleteCute outfit and I especially like your hair. You come up with so many pretty ways to wear your hair
