Well, today is exciting for me because I am a big Adam Lambert fan and he's performing as guest lead singer for Queen today in Kiev - Ukraine. Elton John performs first and then Queen w/ Adam. It should be good. I think it's at a hugely attended soccer game. Maybe post game...I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. It is supposed to be live streamed and so errands are being taken care of earlier than usual today so I can get back and watch it. They will be performing 5 other concerts in Europe together over the next couple of weeks as well.

I've been to one and it was amazing. I've watched ALL of them (too many to count) live streamed and on youtube and they are spectacular. His voice is incredible.

ReplyDeleteOh, gosh...hmmm... I like so many different people, eras and styles. I'm ashamed to admit I listen and like some of today's top 40 style, dance music....
DeleteOne of my icons is Stevie Nicks. Love her. Elvis Presley. I mostly listen to Adam and his new Trespassing cd these days though. That's my favorite right now. One of my favorite songs on it is called Shady and features Nile Rodgers on guitar.

ReplyDeleteI've watched it and am waiting for HD vids to download. It was a lot of fun! This was a good opportunity for him, but I really like him singing his own new music best I think. He's been performing some of his new tunes here and there in US and Europe and these new songs sure make me want to dance! I car dance a lot :)
