A Big Day

Well, today is exciting for me because I am a big Adam Lambert fan and he's performing as guest lead singer for Queen today in Kiev - Ukraine.  Elton John performs first and then Queen w/ Adam.  It should be good.  I think it's at a hugely attended soccer game.  Maybe post game...I'm not sure.  Anyway, I'm looking forward to it.  It is supposed to be live streamed and so errands are being taken care of earlier than usual today so I can get back and watch it.  They will be performing 5 other concerts in Europe together over the next couple of weeks as well.

Sweaters in Seattle

Yes, a sweater today as it's currently only 53 degrees out.  I know I frequently mention the weather, but it explains my choice of outfit.  I feel slightly ridiculous when the rest of the country is actually feeling "heat". haha  I was feeling heat yesterday.  Our furnace kicked on.  Yes...late June and our furnace was running to fight off the chill.  Crrraazzyyy....

Oh well.  I love the color of this sweater.  It's a nice bright grass green.  And it cost only 99 cents.   I'm also wearing my uber high (for me) green platform wedges.  The pink/green/ and white scarf adds another bit of cheerful color.  I'm going to have a Terrific Tuesday and be thankful for bright, pretty colors. :)

Sentimental Sandals

I'm happy to wear, for the first time, my new bubble necklace.  I'm also remembering my wedding day nearly 5 years ago because these are the gold wedge sandals I wore.  They have transitioned nicely from wedding dress to jeans.

Weather Appropriate

It's so nice to have some weather where I can actually wear short sleeves and not be freezing!  I love these bright summery colors.  I don't even remember if I've ever even worn these green capris.   I know I've had them for a year or two though...before I started notating prices on my thrifted clothing.

I had to run over this morning to get an emissions test for my car so that I could renew my vehicle tabs.  On the way over I noticed a facility that offers indoor skydiving!  I didn't even know there was such a thing.   It kind of sounds like fun.  I'd never jump out of an airplane, but this might be a good alternative....not that I'll ever really do it. ha

 I've had these flip flops forever, but have only worn them a couple of times.  I do love the tiny pinkish red candy cane stripes though.  My purse has stripes also so I did a bit of the print mixing of stripes and florals.
