Seeing Spots

I made this shirt from a dress I'd never worn by cutting off the bottom and resewing on the ruffle.  I used some of the excess fabric to make a bow.

Thrifted Items:  Jeans $6.99 Express, black cardigan, shoes $2.

  3. Those jeans are wonderful- lovely color and a very flattering fit. Great work transforming the dress into a very wearable shirt. I love the sophisticated polka dot print. I adore dots but they can sometimes seem a bit too young in a "Minnie Mouse" kind of way. Yours look chic, not silly.
This post reminded me of the bow you made to cover the bleach damaged sweater. Did you end up re-working that sweater? Or did you just let it go?

    1. haha That bleach stained sweater has been hanging on my unused treadmill awaiting my attention ever since that post. I mean...it's literally 5 feet from where I sit at this computer...and where I do my hand sewing. Did I mention I'm a procrastinator? lol
