I guess I normally think of "neutral colors" as tans or blacks, but I wanted to join in the link up at Silverstyle's Trending Through The Decades: Neutrals and so tried to neutralize with cream and soft blues for a different approach.
Thrifted Items: Jeans, blue scarf, heeled loafers.
These colors are perfect on you. I think I like this outfit best of all the ones you have worn so far.
ReplyDeleteWell, my goodness...thank you Debbi. I love a soft baby blue color, but this may be the only thing I own in that color. I'd love to have a really soft cashmere-like sweater in that color. Haven't run across one yet, but I'll keep my eye open for more things in this color.
DeleteVery nice! The light blue and cream look great on you. Have you jumped on the denim shirt bandwagon? I love it on other people but denim sucks all the color from my face.
ReplyDeleteOh, darn, I could have layered the sweater today over a denim shirt and rolled up the sleeves to show the denim. I have my denim shirt on a hanger under another sweater at the moment, waiting in the wings to be worn as an outfit in the upcoming next couple of weeks. I'm not sure if it washes me out or not, but will try it. One thing blogging has done is let me truly see how things look on my in the photos. It can be eye opening! Some things I see afterward in the picture and think, well I had no idea that looked so bad...or that certain outfits are more flattering on me than others. It's been helpful.
DeleteVery cute outfit. The scarf finishes it off perfectly!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up. Will try to have a new link up by the end of the week!
You look so comfy!! I like the scarf, it looks super soft!
ReplyDeleteI love the rather pale shade of blues here.
ReplyDeleteOops, I meant to say thank you for your kind comment on my blog and here I'm rambling, comment after comment.
I hope you'll stop by again soon! ^_^
