It's very rare these days that I buy clothes that are not thrifted, but I bought this skirt at Marshall's. However, it was on clearance for $15...which is more than I'd spend on a thrifted skirt, but I just never find maxi's at the thrift store. I felt this would be a nice neutral addition to my core wardrobe pieces. I will be able to wear it all year round. I'm thinking it will look cute with a pair of my new suede look ankle boots and a chunky cardigan.
Shimmery Brown Tank $2.99 Isaac Mizrahi for Target

DeleteA great addition to your style. You are right about no maxi skirts at thrift stores.. It's a good idea to give up a week or so on thrifting and use the funds on a single piece that you are coveting, especially when you get a good deal like this! We all have our wish lists..
ReplyDeleteYes...I feel like I've splurged on my two pair of suede-like ankle boots too, but those were on my wish list so I felt it was worth it.
DeleteI admire your nice collection of maxi's, Tracey.
Sorry meant to say I like your new header!
