Workday Outfit: Animal Print Belt and Flats

I doubled up on the animal print and added a big flower pin.

The bangle, pants, cardigan and sleeveless mock turtleneck are all a first time wear item.  I really love this bangle.  It's a gradient brownish gold color.  I am really loving the fit of these pants/jeans too.  They are more of a thin, stretch skinny and the length is perfect for flats or heels.  I got a similar pair in orange too.  I'm not as fond of the orange color, but I've got some things I'm planning on pairing them with and hopefully they'll work out okay.  These khaki ones will be go to pants for me, I'm sure, though.

Love these leopard flats too but, once again, I have an issue with them slipping off my heel and I can hardly walk in them or I'll step out of them.  I was at work stuffing the toes with kleenex which helped a bit for a while.  It's irritating to have a pair of pretty shoes that you can't keep on your feet.  This happens too often with me.  They feel perfect and then after I've had them on for a couple of hours it's like they grew a whole size.  I won't give these up though.  They have a sort of satin sheen and are trimmed in patent leather.

  3. Lisa! hi! Awesome items from Value Village aka Savers! Awe ~ Smartly styled and accessorized. Hey, at Target they have these items in the shoe department that you place in your shoes to keep them from riding up or sliding around. I live for those things because when I thrift and find a deal that is not exactly my size, those little guys work wonders. I would buy those if they didn't fit but near for DANG sure. LOL

    1. Hi, Renae. Are they those little rubberish like things that stick on the inside of the heel? If so, I tried those, but they didn't work for me. Maybe I'll try again. Maybe they'd work better in a different pair of shoes. I appreciate your help...because I need it. ha

  5. I go to the insole dept in Walgreens or any food/drug store and there are rubber things that wrap around the inside of the heel of the shoe, on the upper part. I've had a lot of shoes that flop like that until they are broken in. The heel savers work well. And for those gorgeous shoes, it's worth it.

    1. Thank you, Judy. I think I've tried these on another pair of shoes a year or so ago, but I'll give them another try.
