I'm not sure if everyone else would agree this is the best look for me. It's interesting to get other perspectives. For example, hubby said it was nice, but not his favorite. He also said he may not be the best judge of fashion though. haha He did tell me the other day that he didn't think you should roll up a blazer sleeve to have the silky lining showing....so..... :)
I do appreciate his input and thoughts on how I look. He is usually very complimentary and always sensitive to my feelings in regards to my appearance.
I'll still wear this outfit, regardless, and other outfits I have put together and planned that are of a similar style. I feel it's one of my "go to" looks.
What are your thoughts?

Well, I'm very fond of pink myself!
ReplyDeleteYes, pink has always been a favorite.
DeleteOh YES! I love this look on you...and I would love it on me too. I love everything about it Lisa. You look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sue. You are the color queen!! :)
DeletePink and white are definitely your colours, Lisa! Before too you wore something in these colours combination and I noticed it. You instantly look...I don't know...blooming.
ReplyDeleteWell, thank you, Olga. :)
DeleteI agree this color looks fab on you but after losing weight wonder if you are dressing your old body? It can be a difficult transition. This silhouette is easy and works but may no longer feel right to you.
ReplyDeleteI know you feel I should tuck or belt my tops...or perhaps wear them shorter... I've tried, but when I see it on me I just don't think it looks right...or flattering to my body type. I will try an experiment, maybe with an outfit like this, and try the top different ways and see what the consensus is on the looks. Maybe I just don't see myself accurately...or am not choosing what looks right on me.
DeleteThank you, for your input, Tracey. I will work on it.
I find that shade of pink gives your face a special light and you look great wearing that shirt!
ReplyDeleteProblem areas? You don't have any problem areas!!
You're too sweet, dan. Thank you. :)
DeleteI love these colors on you! I am new to your blog and also on a weight loss journey. I have lost 60 lbs so far, and have another 25 to go. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteHi, Karen. I'm so glad you stopped by and introduced yourself. I congratulate you on your tremendous weight loss achievement! And thank you so much for the encouragement. I appreciate it. :)
DeleteHi Lisa. I said it before and I say it again. Thse are definitely your colors. I am with Olga....you instantly look blooming... and beautiful, young, feminine, bright. I like the loose fitting look. I also think, you would look beautiful with a tucked-in top. Just a suggestion.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
Lenya
Hi, Lenya. Thank you for your compliment and suggestion. I like the loose fitting look best on me, but I will try to venture out of my comfort zone sometime and try a tucked in look too.
DeleteI love this outfit on you. It looks very polished and yet casual and fun at the same time. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Debbie. Yes, that's exactly how I feel when I wear it. Put together, but with a casual feel...and the pink makes it light and fun.
DeleteA beautiful look, I love the softness of the color scheme. The shirt is gorgeous and the bag is cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you, josep. Always nice to hear from you.
DeleteLisa, you wear this look well. It reminds me of a navy outfit you recently wore, I think. And your accessories are always spot on! Wearing something you feel great in is always important; what you feel on the inside is always reflected on the outside. But, sometimes we get too comfortable with the known, and it's difficult to step into the unknown. Wear what you feel great in, while occasionally experimenting with other looks.
ReplyDeleteExcellent advice, Norma! Thank you.
DeleteThat's exactly what I'd like to do.
Cudnie wyglądasz w różu i krateczce. Śliczna biżuteria i torebka. Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
