I wore layers to dinner that evening because it was windy and a bit cooler.
Pants $4 Talbots, Blue Sweater $3 Charter Club, Brown Button Down $4.99 Allison Taylor, Silk Jacket w/pockets $4.99 Talbots, Sandals $5.60 Etienne Aigner.
We had a wonderful brunch at the Oak Table Cafe in the town of Sequim and drove around the countryside before heading over to Port Townsend. Then we checked into our B&B and walked downtown visiting the shops and watching the sailboats. There was one shop I loved there called Expressions, but I only purchased a pair of navy/teal earrings for $6.50. They'll be perfect to wear with my new thrifted navy pants and a top I've planned.
We walked around and saw many lovely neighborhood homes.
The one below was a B&B/hotel that was for sale.
We also went to Fort Worden. Fort Worden and Port Townsend are where they filmed the 1982 movie An Officer and a Gentleman with Richard Gere and Debra Winger.
We had an amazing dinner out at the Silverwater Cafe. We were actually not expecting it to be so good. We both had caesar salads and bread. Then I had filet mignon, roasted red potatoes, and asparagus. John had roast duck, risotto, and asparagus. We both thought our meals were delicious. And, of course, we followed up with desserts made fresh in house. I had blackberry pie with local made ice cream and John had key lime pie with the ice cream. We were glad to walk around a bit afterward.
For our B&B breakfast the next morning we had coffee, juice, muffins, fruit, quiche, sausages, and potatoes.
With all I ate on this trip I actually lost a pound so I'm happy that I don't have to live in deep remorse over it. ha
We took a ferry ride to get part of the way home and had a gorgeous view of Mt. Ranier.
