My Outfit: Red, Gray, Black

OMG, these shoes are so comfy.  I've only worn them a couple of times, but I'm in love.  Should we have gone out a couple more times before I made that proclamation?
Flats are comfortable, but I do like a shoe with a bit of heel to help elongate my short legs a little.  (I'm 5'4" btw.) I wish I had a pair of brown ones just like them because I think I tend to wear brown shoes much more often than black.  But... come to think of it....I do have a pair of nearly identical (to each other) black and brown mules up in my closet that I wore like crazy a couple of years ago, but not so much lately.  I need to work on incorporating them into my outfits.
I have gotten rid of 2 pair of shoes this week that weren't working for me... so a bit more progress is being made in my weeding out endeavor.

  2. The shoes actually look comfy and elegant. As the whole outfit does. Your earrings are amazing, Lisa!

  3. Cole Haan shoes are great, in my experience - and these look very sleek and pretty on you, Lisa. Thanks so much for linking up!

  4. I even love men's Cole Haan shoes. Gorgeous! I love finding good brands in thrift stores. Purses too.
I've hauled three huge bags of unwanted clothes to the Northwest Services bin at my local PCC parking lot. So convenient!

    1. Oh, that's convenient for your drop off donations. I took 2 bags to Value Village Sunday....but came home with 4-5 bags full. HA! So much for my "thinning out my closet" project. I just loaded up again big time. :( But, but, but....I found so much good stuff...and hubby encouraged me to go. What's a girl to do. I've got about 10 more bags of donations stuffed in the coat closet and trunk of my car. I donate and get that valuable $3 off my next purchase coupon. lol

    1. Yes, slip ons. My favorite kind. So many times shoes with backs fall off of me and don't fit right....either too tight or too loose.

  6. I wish I could wear a heel but I would fall off them for sure with my weak ankles. I can fall off a flat!
Your whole outfit is really pretty and look very, very good on you. Love those red pants.

  8. This is such a cute outfit on you Lisa. Too cute that you came home with more than you donated to Value Village. I do that sometimes too! You know, it's all for a good cause, so have fun with it. And never pass up a good shoe find!

  9. I can't believe that you got those red jeans for $2.50! That's amazing because they are right on trend! And I love them mixed with grey.

I had to laugh about your comment about having some shoes that you wore like crazy but haven't worn as much recently. I am fickle that way, too. I have an intense love affair with something until the next thing catches my eye. That's why it's so helpful to read these blogs because they show us new ways to wear those "fallen from favor" items!

  10. Looking so pretty, as always. You are one of those pretty faces that looks good no matter what! Always appropriate, red and gray.
I know what you mean about height and heels ... I don't wear flats except when I'm at home. I have some dressier ones hanging out in my closet, but I'm not sure when I'll wear them!
