Old Lady Shoes

Not so long ago I would have considered these "old lady shoes", but things have changed.  Now I consider them appropriate for my age and an attempt at finding comfort for my feet which is now an important thing to me.  Funny how our priorities change over the years.
The tights are a dark brown cable knit, but appear black in these photos.
It was just a grocery shopping day...so nothing fancy.  I plan on re-donating this dress at some point and wanted to wear it one more time first.

   Thrifted Items:
Dress
Dark Brown T-Shirt
Rust Cardigan $2.80 Cranbrook
Necklace $5.99
Purse - Nine West
Dark Brown Leather Flats $2.50 Rockport

  1. I am with you on the comfort! I just cannot wear heels, they hurt my feet and my knee hurts even with flats, heels are killers.
That said, you look fab for a trip to the grocery store.

  4. The flats are a great value. I know that when I am on my feet in the classroom, I really appreciate a good flat. I always liked Aerosoles.
