Daytripping to Hurricane Ridge
The weather was fantastic and the scenery was beautiful. I couldn't ask for a better day.
Pardon my appearance, but this is what my trekking about fun looks like. haha
We saw a couple of these cute little chipmunks scampering around. This one came nearly right up to my shoe as I was sitting on a bench in the woods. I think he was quickly ascertaining if I would feed him before bounding off again. There were signs all around NOT to feed the wildlife, but from the looks of this little guy I don't know if this rule has been totally complied with.

This looks like a wonderful day! I love days like this and we sure have a ton of great places to visit without spending all day and night in a car. Isn't this extended summer nice?
