We're on our way to a Saturday matinee. Men in Black with hot dogs and popcorn. Men in Black in 3d is my husbands choice. We don't go to the movies that often, but I think I'm going to need to see The Great Gatsby on the big screen when it comes out. The version with Robert Redford and Mia Farrow is one of my all time favorites. The book is one of my favorite reads as well.

**Well, we both enjoyed the movie. It was better than I'd anticipated. I liked the storyline actually.
My outfit and shoes were totally comfortable. My navy pants are some of the looser fitting ones I own and the sandals are in the top 30% category of long term wear shoes in my closet. And bonus....our elderly dog had had no accidents while we were gone. She was still laying quietly on her big toddler size bed. We rarely leave her for more than an hour or two any more because she is prone to accidents and falling. So it was nice to get out together.
At the movies I ate a hot dog, 1/2 a pretzel and some popcorn. We brought leftover popcorn home. We're skipping dinner and having tortilla chips w/homemade guacamole for snack tonight. TOTAL junk food day! ha
I'll be curious to how MIB 3 is, I liked the first two. You'll have to let us know what you think!

I want to see the Great Gatsby too! WE don't got to the movies often ourselves...they don't really make too many films for people in my age category. But, when we do go, we each order a large bucket of popcorn. Husband eats his swimming in butter.
