Gray-ciously Inspired

I thank the beautiful Tamera Beardsley for inspiring today's outfit (and hairstyle).  She looked so pretty in her City Shorts post that I got to work and shopped my closet to come up with something similar for myself.
Here's my lovely inspiration:
This is not the first time she's inspired a new outfit for me.  Thanks, Tamera!

Thrifted Items:  White capri pants, white button down $4.99 Separate Issue, gray sweater $2.80 St. John's Bay, purse $6 St. John's Bay, heeled sandals.
Necklace $5.98 = Target

    1. Thanks, Beth. I had bought this plastic thing called High on Hair at the dollar store. They have a medium and large one and you place it at the crown of your head to create a "bump". I used the large one today as you can probably tell. Major bouffant action going on. haha

    1. Thanks, Anne. Tamera has really great style and is soooo seemingly effortlessly classy. That is NOT me "naturally". I have to work at it to achieve the slightest bit. :)

    1. These pants hit me at a pretty good length. I don't really like shorter ones on me, although I'll probably eventually be wearing the ones I already have. I prefer this length or even a little closer to ankle length I think.

    1. You and Tamera are both queens of a polished look no matter what you're wearing. You are both very instrumental in providing inspiration in my attempts turn it up a notch on occasion.

  9. Oh, nice job! Great inspiration, and your take on it is lovely. (I'm seriously coveting that red bag!) Stylish shorts and cropped pants continue to elude me, but seeing how great you both look, I will not give up!

    1. Hi, Anne. I like this bag too. It's nice and roomy for all my stuff and it's got little silver stud details. Good luck in your search for the summer items!
