Working in the White

I'm carrying my new white purse to the office today.  It feels bright and fresh.  It's supposed to be a cloudy, rainy day and so I felt like a boost of lightness in my wardrobe.  I'm also wearing newly thrifted navy sandals and it's the first time I've worn this top as well.   It's dark navy, but looks kind of black in the photos.   I'd really like to do the heavy arm candy styling, but I don't seem to have enough bracelets...or ones that look right together, so that is a trend I'll have to work on for the future.  Today I'll keep it clean and simple.

Thrifted Items:  White jeans $4.50 Amanda, navy/white top $5.60 R&M Richards by Karen Kwong, navy sleeveless top $1.50 Uniform-John Paul Richard, white purse $7.79 Liz Claiborne (new w/tags), navy strappy sandals $5.60 Donna Lawrence.
Crystal-Pearl dangle earrings $3.98 = Target

  3. Great new shoes! I like the arm candy idea too, but like you I am having a hard time getting it together. I always have an eye out for new bracelets but it will take some time.

  4. Love everything about this outfit. You look so crisp and polished. I wish you lived near me and I would let you borrow whatever bracelets you want from my stash.

    1. Awwwww, you're so sweet, Debbi. I wish I lived near you just so we could be girlfriends. :) And if you lived out here we'd have lots of fun thrifting!
You do have a fabulous jewelry collection.

  5. Hi Lisa, I like any combination of red, white and blue because it's practically impossible to go wrong. So your navy and white are just right!

  6. I'm jealous of your crisp white slacks and lovely white tote. I do not do well with white, tho' - I'm like a stain magnet when I wear it. I'm still afraid to break out my white shrunken blazer (a recent thrift find) but am going to do so as soon as the weather gives us a break :)

  7. I really like the patterned jacket--and I don't think you need the arm party. It's a fresh and crisp look.
