Just a Little Twist

I like to wear my hair up a lot and today I tried adding a little twist.  It's not a big change, but adds a little something.  I just twisted the sides back and then created a messy bun/ponytail.  I like it, it was easy, and I will probably use this as a go to style in the future.  Another twist in today's outfit is the scarf.  I just tied it at the ends, twisted and looped it around my head to create the infinity scarf look.  I am also wearing a new pair of wedges.  I'm loving wedges these days.

  1. Your hair is cute! Makes me think about letting mine grow...except it's on the thin side (unlike the rest of moi). Good styling with the scarf...have to try that.

    1. haha, Donna.... My hair has thinned out so much too. I do a little curling and teasing to help things out a bit. I have a cowlicky bare spot in back near the crown that gives me fits and I have to tease to cover it.

  2. Your thrifted looks are just wonderful. I had a formal event today and twisted my hair up in a sort of touseled French roll. I am all for experiments like this...although my hair is so heavy, it often falls.

  3. You have gorgous hair, Terri. Be thankful it's so plentiful. I sometimes use those little brown/black plastic hair clips/clamps to hold mine up. The sort of tiny ones. You'd probably need larger for thick hair though. Sometimes I'll do a ponytail and then push the clip up under the holder to give it more oomph.

  4. I like the little tweak on your hair..you look more dressy now with the hanging earrings and beautiful scarf. The red sweater looks fabulous on you...great color

    1. Thanks, Beth. I'm generally finding wedges to be more comfortable than heels, plus they're cute...and I need to make my stubby little legs look longer.
