I've worn this scarf several times before, but never with the print of the lion visible.  After viewing these photos I did make some adjustment of the scarf.  I tied it around in back and continued the asymetrical drape over both shoulders, but kept the lion head situated in about the same place.  As it is in these photos, it looks as if I have my dinner napkin tucked in and I'm getting ready to chow down.  haha
Sometimes that happens...you realize this or that is a little off and you can correct it.  Problem is I usually don't get photos of the improvement.  But that's okay.  :)

A Cute Little Jacket + Booties = Sass!

I've never worn this style of jacket and didn't know if it would suit my body type, but it was only $1.29 so I thought it wouldn't hurt to try it.  And I actually love it!  You know how it is when something makes you feel good and you feel like your sass quotient goes up a notch?  I felt a little like that while wearing this outfit.
I looked up "sass" in the urban dictionary and it was described as this:  "Attitude, not backing down to the man, putting the smack down, opening a can of Bruce Lee."  
Yeah...that about sums up my momentary inner demeanor in this jacket. hahaha   Being able to put the smack down for only $1.29 is pretty reasonable, I'd say.
(Of course the booties may have had a little something to do with it too.)     :)

Cozy Casual In Blue And Orange

This was the first time to wear both the scarf and purse.  I'm very happy I got them both.  I also love blue with orange.  The third thing I love in this outfit are the loafers.  They're so soft and comfy and I like the color.
This was the perfect cozy casual outfit for me.

Military Style Jacket And Cupcakes!

I had totally planned on wearing my deep plum (burgundy) jeans and dark brown shoes with the top half of this outfit, but grabbed for these pieces (tan pants/loafers) without thinking.  Oh, well.  Another outfit for another day.  I like how this turned out anyway. 

 I didn't do anything special...just ran to the grocery store and baked Harvest Apple Cupcakes With Cream Cheese Frosting.  I was pleasantly surprised at just how super yummy these turned out!  I never bake because I'm just not good at it and don't really enjoy it...so I normally leave the baking to my husband who is marvelous at it.

I got the recipe here and here.  I started following Anna's blog a couple of months ago and now watch her youtube channel and also must watch the daily episodes of her youtube channel with her whole family here.  I normally am not really into reality tv shows, but for some reason I need to see what cute little Emilia is up to each day.  And now they're expecting a little boy! :)
I watch a few others on occasion that are about fashion and make up, but no others about people's daily lives. ha

I'm wearing rich autumn colors of deep emerald, orange, and shades of caramel.  I was very happy with this look...and it all came together because of the pretty little scarf.  I will be wearing this scarf again for Thanksgiving with a plaid blazer in a similar green color and I might wear a darker brown pant.

I wore this last week, but I'm not as crazy about this blazer as I thought I'd be.  I'm going to eventually try it out with maybe some white pants and khaki colored pants too and see if I like that look any better.  I think I'll try adding a scarf also.

 I started out with the blazer unbuttoned, then I buttoned it...and as I was getting ready to walk out the door I realized it had belt loops on the sides, so I quickly grabbed a dark navy/purple? belt (the red I tried clashed with the sweater) and was on my way to work.
